Model Academy
It is quite true that in larger markets e.g. New York, and London models have ample opportunities in the fashion industry without receiving any formal training. This is not always the case in smaller markets like South Africa. The model academy have through the years assisted numerous models to further their careers and have turned self-conscious young people into elegant young individuals.
About Adel van Heerden (Head of the Steele Model Studio Academy)
Adel started her training at a modeling school at the age of 15 and has had a very successful modelling career within the SA fashion industry, doing various fashion shows, bridal shows, photo shoots, newspaper shoots, magazine work, television adverts, and magazine covers.
In 2005 Adel decided it was time to use her skills on a much higher level and opened Steele Model Studio. The company has since proved to be much more than just another modelling agency and is currently one of the leading model academies in the country.
